Following hot on the heels of last week's first official Avengers trailer comes more news on the future of Marvel's biggest stars. Speaking at the New York Comic-Con studio head Kevin Feige revealed what's next for the Avengers.
Feige said that Iron Man 3 would be the first film “In the second phase of The Avengers initiative,” with the second (or third in some cases) phase of standalone films "that will culminate, God willing, in Avengers 2". Iron Man 3 has been in production for the last few months with Shane Black due to direct.
According to Marvel it doesn’t look like Avengers 2 will be arriving until 2014 at the earliest, with Iron Man 3 is scheduled for a May 2013 release, Thor 2 for November 2013 and Captain America 2 not having any confirmed release date as of yet.
